Located in lovely peaceful countryside in Powys, Mid Wales and set in its own grounds, this delightful detached stone cottage provides a comfortable and tranquil holiday retreat. It is also an excellent centre for hill walking, touring and visiting the various facilities at the nearby town of Brecon.
Lying between the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons, just 3 miles east of Brecon town, it looks out over pasture and woodland to the nearby mountains.
Rock Cottage has a spacious garden area with lawns, a wildflower reserve, a meandering stream with a waterfall and patios with mountain views.
There is also ample parking space within the grounds
Facilities
Cozy lounge with open fireplace, colour television, DVD player and VCR. Large dining room with further easy chairs, radio/tape recorder and an outer door leading onto a patio. Fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridgefreezer, microwave, washing machine and a good supply of utensils. Cloakroom/W.C.
Sleeping 5 people, Rock Cottage has double, twin and single bedrooms. Bathroom/shower, with wash basin and W.C. A cot and high chair are available.
Rock Cottage has new efficient Economy 7 heating, plus free standing convector heaters in all rooms.
